DAY 1- ARRIVAL IN SRINAGAR.
Our staff from Snow Glow will be at the airport to receive you and escort you to a House Boat on Dal Lake. Explore floating markets, scenic vistas and immerse in tranquil experiences or joyous get togethers on the House boat.
DAY 2- SRINAGAR- MUGHAL GARDENS
Spend a whole day visiting the ancient terraced gardens of Srinagar, well known for its architectural and ornamental beauty; home for rare varieties of plethora of colourful flowers and plants.
NISHAT GARDEN
It is a 12 terraced garden located on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains as its backdrop. The tall Chinar trees, fountains, pool, seating arenas, ornamental arches, paintings, octagonal towers, and kaleidoscope of flowers makes it ethereal.
SHALIMAR GARDEN
This garden is considered as the highest point of Mughal Horticulture and also called as the 'Crown of Srinagar'. The garden is built on the model of Persian Architecture. The garden is considered to be very beautiful in the autumn and spring season due to change in colour of the leaves of the famous Chinar Trees.
When Jahangir, the founder of Shalimar was asked about his cherished desire on his death bed, he is credited to have said: Kashmir, the rest is worthless.
CHESHMA SHAHI
The natural spring in this Mughal Garden is the top attraction for tourists. It was built in the 16th century by the Mughal Governor Ali Marden Khan, commissioned by Shah Jahan for his elder son, Dara Shikoh. It is the smallest among the Mughal Gardens.
DAY 3 - SRINGAR, GULMARG
We visit Gulmarg called the 'Meadow of Flowers'. This hill station is a popular skiing destination during winters. The Gondola Rides is one of the highest cable car rides in the world. We return to unwind at a hotel in Srinagar in the evening.
DAY 4 - SRINAGAR, SONAMARG
Sonamarg which means, 'Meadow of Gold' looks straight out of a painting with majestic snow-capped mountains against a clear blue sky. You can go boating on the Poovar River or hire an ice scooter, or pony ride to view or ski on the Thajiwas Glacier. We relax at the hotel in Srinagar for the night.
DAY 5- SRINAGAR, PAHALGAM
Pahalgam provides an ideal setting for trekking, fishing and hiking.
At 15km from Pahalgam lies Chandanwari, the starting point of Amarnath Yatra. You can enjoy snow sledding on a snow bridge or picnic amidst nature.
The Betaab Valley is encircled by tall deodar trees and pine forests. The Lidder River flows through the valley with mesmerizing scenic spots.
The Aru Valley with its lush green meadows, high mountains and strong flow of the Lidder River looks magical. It also serves as a base camp for trekking to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake.
DAY 6 -SRINAGAR AIRPORT
